The city of Gland has chosen Monday as its project portfolio management (PPM/PMO) tool, thus offering its teams a unique and flexible platform, particularly for better collaboration on cross-functional projects.

The city of Gland wanted to acquire a tool for managing the city's project portfolio. The goal was to be able to group all strategic projects managed by the different departments. On the one hand, to have a global and unified view of the project status, and on the other hand, to simplify cross-functional team collaboration.
Until now, projects were managed and presented in a traditional way, with Excel, Powerpoint, and paper. Formal and informal silos appeared due to a lack of collaborative tools, hindering information exchange and team collaboration.
The city focused its attention on modern solutions such as Wrike, Asana, or Monday. Monday was chosen for its flexibility and apparent simplicity. The solution obviously checked all the boxes in the specifications.
Monday made it possible to build a completely customized project portfolio management tool. The platform significantly facilitated the monitoring, collaboration, and presentation of project status by managers and city councilors.
More and more teams and departments have also adopted it for their own needs. They quickly appreciated the quality of the interfaces, the ease of use, and the multitude of possibilities, which go far beyond project and task management.
